Hi! I’m Stephanie. I’m a lay minister in the Episcopal Church, a writer, and a feminist theologian.
My experience as a divorced single mother in ministry and academia transformed my life, my writing, and my ministry. I was further radicalized by the work of mujerista and ecofeminist theology while completing my MA-Theological Studies with concentration in Christian Earthkeeping in 2017 from Portland Seminary at George Fox University. I look for the places and spaces where the academic study of religion and the practice of the church intersect.
I love (in no particular order): my two teenagers, our cat Alexander the Great, cooking, yoga, good lipstick, attempting not to kill things in my garden, people watching, reading, my book club, live local music, the upper Texas gulf coast bioregion and all its swampy glory, and lists.
